Saksham Scholarship Program For Drivers' Children: Empowering Education for the Future

Welcome to the Saksham Scholarship Program for Drivers' Children, a noble initiative aimed at empowering the future generation of 'Empowering Education for Drivers' Families by providing financial assistance for their education. This scholarship program seeks to support talented and deserving students who come from families engaged in driving light motor vehicles and small commercial vehicles. In this article, we will delve into the details of this scholarship program, its eligibility criteria, the application process, and the documents required to apply.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Saksham Scholarship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Parent's Profession: One of the parents should be a driver engaged in driving light motor vehicles or small commercial vehicles such as taxis, jeeps, cars, delivery vans, pickup trucks, school vans, etc.

Family Income: The annual family income of the applicants from all sources should not exceed INR 3,00,000.

Scholarship Benefits

The selected candidates will be awarded a scholarship amount of INR 5,000 for one year. This financial assistance aims to ease the burden of educational expenses and encourage students to focus on their studies without any financial constraints.

Preference for Girl Students

As part of its commitment to promoting gender equality and women's education, the Saksham Scholarship Program gives preference to girl students. This affirmative approach empowers young women to pursue their academic dreams and become change-makers in their communities.

Maximum Two Students per Family

To ensure that the scholarship reaches a wider section of deserving students, the program limits the number of scholarships to a maximum of two students per family. This provision ensures that more families can benefit from this valuable financial support.

Ineligibility Criteria

While the Saksham Scholarship Program aims to benefit as many students as possible, certain criteria would disqualify an applicant from applying for the scholarship. Children or family members of Mahindra Finance are not eligible to apply for this scholarship program.
